Barley news Canada: Weekly barley exports total 81,500 metric tonnes

The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending February 26.

Grower deliveries during the week included 42,500 MT barley; 227,100 MT wheat; 4,900 MT flax; 207,700 MT canola; 39,100 MT peas; and 11,500 MT corn; 70,400 MT durum; 35,100 MT oats.

The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 569,800 MT. On the grain side this included including 81,500 MT barley; 300,000 MT wheat; 25,800 MT durum; 28,100 MT oats; no flax; and no corn.

Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 14,314,800 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year up 2,173,200 MT from the 12,141,600 moved last year.
